This is a promo clip I had assembled for BLOW UP FOREVER -- the larger promotional sibling in the BLOW UP dance party empire based in San Francisco.
This is a promo clip I had assembled for BLOW UP FOREVER -- the larger promotional sibling in the BLOW UP dance party empire. The client provided the video footage (which is a brilliant piece of work directed by Mathew Donaldson for nowness.com -- permission having been acquired for usage.) The client also provided the musical track as well as the typefaces for which they had a particular fondness.
The fun part about this project was working with a client who already had a keen aesthetic sense. They already knew what it is they wanted, they just needed someone who could execute their ideas effectively and present them with sound options when forks in the road presented themselves.
The not-so-fun part of this project was that talent was always being added to the bill and the order kept changing and having to be reconfigured! Ha! Ha!
